Welcome to our custom outdoor furniture shop. When your Outdoor Furniture is ordered , each is an individual hand-crafted piece to that order. Wood is kept nearby, and orders can be filled. Our shop does offer a large variety of wood species and finishes. Chairs vary in size and styles with matching ottomans and tables when ordered. The Historical Wood orders are special and limited due to the very nature of the types. Options to each chair makes your order a one of a kind such as live edge arms or cookie slab backs. Our shop only uses uniformed color, hand-picked woods certified by the FSC.

The Great Seattle Fire of 1889 affected the central business area of downtown Seattle. Reconstruction began immediately and was completed by 1906. Main construction beams were salvaged from the FX McRory’s building located at Occidental and Jackson in Pioneer Square. T

Main construction beams were salvaged from the FX McRory’s building located at Occidental and Jackson in Pioneer Square. The building was originally called The Manufacturers Exchange Building and later served as FX McRory's Steak and Oyster House for 40 years. The beams are made of old growth wood, free of heart, with some bolt holes. VERY LIMITED

"Teredo lumber" is milled from salvaged boom logs that have seen 30-70 years of use on the waterways of the PNW to transport lumber from forest to mill. The teredo clam likes to call these logs home by burrowing deep and creating unique and intricate patterns in the wood. Most of these boom logs were old growth
WORMWOOD/ TEREDO CLAM CHAIRS

Beautiful wood that makes a statement. All lumber has been milled, cleaned, and kiln dried out on the Olympic Peninsula.
Locally milled & kiln dried, reclaimed, old growth Fir that was formerly submerged in local saltwaters & used in the Pacific Northwest timber transport trade. Traces of life long gone can seen here, from the beautiful channels left behind by the seafaring teredo clam to the tiny punctuations of the gribbles who settle in afterward - the handiwork of annelids, mollusks and arthropods have all been made visible.

Over the years Microsoft has expanded its campus is Redmond, WA. Trees were cut down and logged out to local mills. These trees were turned into lumber and other buildings materials. Some were saved off and kiln dried for future sales. OAWW found some being sold as Live Edge Fir Slabs and Norwegia
